Since we started Ready2invest in 2003 we have seen the property and investment market change beyond recognition. Attitude to investment has changed. And we have changed a lot too.
Pre-credit crunch, our main business was brokering off-plan property in overseas markets such as Europe and North Africa. When the global recession hit, we made a big change to our company strategy, deciding to source great deals in developments that had reduced or no completion risk.
Nowadays, we have three main strands to our business:
Property Investments
We are sourcing deals in established property markets like the UK and US, where the properties are either complete or nearly complete, with a good discount to market value. Take a look at our latest property deal by clicking here.
Land Investments
As part of our strategy change in 2008, we decided that we wanted more control over the projects we were brokering, and decided to become directly involved at developer level. We bought a 310 hectare piece of land in Mendoza, Argentina and called it ‘Valle de Uco Golf, Wine & Country’. Since starting this project, it has gone from strength to strength. Alternative Investments
This is a relatively recent string to our bow. We noticed a growing demand among our investors for investment opportunities that were a little bit different. We now have a portfolio of alternative products, such as gold, green oil and even feature films. Many of these investments are low entry (as little as £850) and most importantly, can often be invested in through a SIPP or other personal pension scheme.
