Accessibility drives global migration

Improved access to foreign countries is encouraging international migration, according to an expert.

Dave Isley of NatWest said it was now easier than ever to travel between different parts of the world.

This, he stated, had led to people having the chance to either work overseas or enjoy a different lifestyle in another country.

Mr Isley commented: "There's a lot of opportunity now for people to go abroad and just expand their horizons."

He added that being able to broadening their experiences by living overseas was something that was not possible 50 years ago.

Mr Isley went on to predict that the number of Britons choosing to set up home overseas would continue to increase during the next few decades.

Earlier this month, research by NatWest found that more than one in three expatriates considered improving their quality of life as their main reason for living abroad.
