Argentina offers investment opportunities for expats leaving Dubai
Argentina has been named by Shelter Offshore as a top destination for expats leaving Dubai thanks to its property investment opportunities.
According to the offshore finance specialists, as the economy in Dubai starts to crumble, a number of other destinations are being highlighted for their money making potential.
It said: "Real estate in the country is affordable (understatement), tourism is in a fledgling state and you could perhaps make a killing in either field... Argentina is raw and ripe for exploration."
The country is already a popular choice for Americans moving abroad and Shelter Offshore believes that it "has a lot to offer those going in search of a new life abroad". Areas of industry where expats were making their mark include beef farming, wine making and tourism.
Brazil is also predicted to do well in the coming years. This is thanks to, among other things, the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janiero, and property in all areas of the country is expected to boom. However Shelter Offshore believes that there could be "even more opportunities available to the pioneering expat" in Argentina as it is currently less developed.
Recent figures suggest that the economy in Argentina is back on the road to prosperity after the Buenos Aires Herald reported at the beginning of December that salaries were up in all sectors.
