Attendance at property exhibition praised
Brooklands Exhibitions has spoken enthusiastically about the turn-out at last week's A Place in the Sun Live event.
The property expo at the NEC in Birmingham was attended by more than 7,500 people, a figure which highlights the continuing demand for property in other countries.
Ken Pritchard, group events director at Brooklands, described this as a "great result" in the current economic climate.
"We went into the show in the shadow of a wealth of negative press coverage regarding the global financial markets," he commented.
"Despite this achieved a good number of high quality buyers."
Mr Pritchard added that the show was attended by serious buyers who are keen to take advantage of declining house prices in some parts of the world.
This comes shortly after Mark Bishop, founder of A Place in the Sun Live, said the West Midlands-based event was "pleasingly busy".
