Brazil offers diverse tourism market
Many tourists are attracted to Brazil because of the diverse nature of the country's resources.
Tom Falcao, general manager of the London Tourist Office of the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism, described the variety of holidays currently available in the South American country as "amazing".
He said that Brazil now deals in 12 different "modalities" for tourism - adventure, diving, historical towns, ecotourism, fishing, festivities, resorts, sun and sea, golf, incentive, business, and events and cultural tours.
Mr Falcao added that there are now 117 golf courses in Brazil, with the government recently establishing a separate department for golf within the tourism office.
He also said that internal tourism is currently experiencing a boom in Brazil, contributing to the overall health of the sector.
"A large amount of people in Brazil now travel much more than before - internal tourism has increased due to very good offers and competition," Mr Falcao explained.
Earlier this week, US billionaire Sam Zell described Brazil as one of the best markets in the world for investors.
