Brazil offers 'exclusivity'

The Brazilian property market can provide investors with a great deal of opportunities, according to one expert.

A spokesperson for Knight Frank revealed that a number of Europeans have moved into the sector, with many investors purchasing second homes to capitalise upon the emerging market.

"It is somewhere which has not been developed to the extant of Dubai or Spain, so it offers a bit of exclusivity," he explained.

Additionally, such emerging markets usually offer higher gross profits for investors, he suggested.

Brazil is set top become one of the world's most prominent economies over the course of the next 50 years, according to a Goldman Sachs Global Economics paper.

The firm noted that the within 40 years, the economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China could together be bigger than the G6 countries in US dollar terms.

By 2050, the company predicted of the current G6 countries only the US and Japan would still be among the largest economies in the world.
