Brazilian economy praised by media
Two media outlets have spoken favourably about Brazil's continuing economic expansion.
According to Forbes, the South American country is performing much better than many other emerging markets such as India and China.
Indeed, it believes the ongoing slowdown in the global economy is doing little to impede growth in Brazil's economy.
This, it said, is having a positive effect on its housing market, as house prices are rising steadily.
As a result, it could be a potentially lucrative market for overseas property buyers who wish to cash in on the capital appreciation.
Forbes commented: "The demand for housing, especially in the high end, has driven prices to new highs."
Meanwhile BBC News has said the country's recent growth has led to greater personal wealth among the population.
The news provider said this is fuelling further expansion, as rising incomes have led to more consumer spending.
