Brits to travel abroad for skiing holidays
Overseas property investors in popular skiing resorts are likely to benefit from an increase in visitor numbers this winter.
UK newspaper the Independent highlighted Val Gardena in Italy as one of the best options for skiers, as it was a relaxing and family-friendly location.
Furthermore, the publication stated that the area was easily accessible and serviced by low-cost airlines at Verona, Bergamo and Innsbruck.
Winter sports fans were also advised to consider Flaine in France, as this contained a number of facilities designed to attract both children and adults.
The recommendations come at the same time as new research from insurance provider eSure, which estimated that more than 3 million Britons would go skiing this winter.
This suggests that overseas property investors in popular ski resorts in countries such as France and Italy will benefit from larger rental yields in the next few months.
