Buyers advised to purchase off-plan property
Second home buyers have been encouraged to consider purchasing an off-plan property.
According to the American Chronicle, this form of investment has become increasingly popular among property buyers in recent years.
This was said to be because it allows people to purchase an uncompleted residence at well below its market value, which means there is considerable growth potential after work is finished.
As a result, an off-plan investment could be a highly profitable endeavour.
However, the publication advised people who are considering buying off-plan to try to enter the market as early as possible.
The American Chronicle commented: "It is so much easier to secure a prime plot while the development is still in its beginning stages."
Prospective buyers were also told that since the completed property will be brand new, they will not need to worry about maintenance and costly repair work.
Earlier this week, the publication advised people to consider buying an off-plan property in Spain.
The American Chronicle said current market conditions in the country make it likely that buyers will be able to snap up a bargain.
