Buy-to-let investors 'should act now'
Buy-to-let property investors who understand the UK market have been advised that now is a good time to make a purchase.
According to Mark Garner, owner of LettingZone.com, those who recognise which type of property is likely to perform well and who are prepared to make a long-term investment could benefit.
He stated that landlords who have the cash to fund a purchase will see that demand for rental accommodation is increasing, with many people fearful that prices will drop further and therefore delaying buying a home.
Commenting on prospects for buy-to-let landlords in this situation, Mr Garner remarked: "It is a good time to buy a property now as long as you have the deposit."
Last week, the Association of Residential Letting Agents suggested that the UK rental market is stabilising, after a survey of its members revealed that the number of new tenancies increased in the second quarter of the year.
