Central Portugal 'offers investors good variety'
Potential property investors are being encouraged to consider the prospects on offer in the central region of the country by Homes Worldwide.
According to the organisation, there are a number of exciting opportunities in the area and the types of property range from farms and cottages to more traditional dwellings.
Moreover, prices of properties start from 15,000 euros (£10,000) in the area, where rundown cottages can be sold for this amount.
In addition, the cost of living is cheaper than in Britain, the body contends.
Gill Fitzherbert-Brockholes from the estate agents Property for Sale In Central Portugal stated that the firm covers a number of areas.
"We have ruins, farmhouses and quintas, all in this unspoilt part of Portugal which is waiting for you to discover," she commented.
Portugal is one of the warmest countries in Europe, largely due to its geographical location.
