Cyprus recommended to property investors
Overseas property investors have been advised to consider purchasing rental accommodation in Cyprus.
Property author David Peters stated that the Mediterranean island has a range of attractions to offer, such as a lower cost of living and affordable house prices.
He said this meant people would be able to get more for their money than in any comparable European market, especially as it is also well-serviced by low-cost airlines.
Mr Peters added that these factors, combined with Cyprus's popularity as a holiday destination, made it an ideal location for rental investors.
He commented: "You'll find the growth of opportunity for renting is booming."
The growth of the internet was cited as one of the reasons for the popularity of the island, as it had made booking holidays much easier than it had been in the past.
Cyprus recently became a member of the single European currency, adopting the euro on New Year's Day.
