Energy firms 'to get grants'
A large grant is set to be given to Bulgarian companies which specialise in the field of energy.
Intelligent Energy for Europe - the European commission programme - is set to give 727 million euros (£488 million) to these type of firms, according to BTA, reports the Sofia Echo.
It will be used to create the correct market conditions for the implementation of more renewable forms of energy and effective power, the news agency stated.
Moreover, it should take around six years to be carried out. For each individual project, the budget is set to be around 1 million euros for 3 years, the paper added.
Each Bulgarian company has the right to apply, news that may be welcomed by potential property investors. Presentations of projects must be made by September.
