Events 'boost income from property'
Various entertainment and sporting events can bring increased income to the owners of property in areas of Spain, according to new findings.
The attractive nature of areas grows when places put on high-profile events, said Kyero.com, reported by Homes Worldwide.
For example, the Americas Cup in Valencia resulted in an increase in property prices in the city.
In the second quarter of 2006, the average price of a one-bedroom property was 122,000 euros (£81,923) while this stood at 147,000 euros, the organisation claimed.
Moreover, the area is set to be boosted further with the news that the city is to host a Grand Prix, the body stated.
Those with apartment along the route could benefit with property prices set to rise higher, the company argued.
In related news, the Spanish lifestyle is increasingly popular for the British, according to GE Money Home Lending.
