Experts happy with Dubai market
Property professionals in Dubai are delighted with the recent level of activity in the market, it has been claimed.
Writing in the Gulf Times, local residential property expert Ryan Mahoney stated that he had seen little evidence of a market slowdown in the United Arab Emirates.
Some recent reports suggested that the housing sector in Dubai could not continue to perform as well as it has done in recent years and that a downturn is close.
However, Mr Mahoney insisted that developers and agents in the emirate are not concerned by the reports, as their experiences indicate that the market remains in good shape.
"One property consultant
told me how overwhelmed she and her colleagues are with enquiries, suggesting that the volume of business from both investors and end users remains at an all-time high," he added.
The view comes just days after Ahmed Jamal of Emerging Markets Property Advisors said that property in Dubai remains a good investment because of the strong demand for rented accommodation.
