Food chain to 'invest in Romania'
Hard Rock Cafe has announced that it has plans to open a venue in Herastrau Park, which would be its first in Romania.
If the plans go ahead, then the restaurant will have a seating capacity of 450 plus 250 more spaces for an area overlooking the surrounding lake, reports zf.ro.
Information released on the company's website suggests that the venue would become one of the firm's biggest in Europe, highlighting the attractive nature of Romania for property investment.
Exact details regarding job opportunities and the level of money being pumped into the project have not been released by the firm.
A number of positions, however, have already been advertised, including that of bar staff, waiting on staff and a head chef.
Currently, the only other eastern European capital to boast a Hard Rock Cafe is Warsaw.
The chain was founded in 1971 and the first one was officially opened in London.
