France 'now more accessible'
New, cheaper travel links to France have been announced by the cross-channel ferry company Brittany Ferries.
The firm has stated that travellers will now be able to go between Portsmouth and Poole to Cherbourg for £89 each way, reports Homes Worldwide.
Additionally, overnight crossing will be offered, so travellers will be able to enjoy facilities onboard the vessels such as shops, the publication stated.
Speeds differ, with both high-speed and slower crossings available, it was reported.
In news that may be of interest to potential property investors, the ships will arrive in France at a network of major roads into Brittany, the firm added.
Moreover, the ferries allow room for cars, which offer more opportunities for travellers.
Via this form of transport, France can be reached in 3 hours, according to Brittany Ferries.
