German economy 'good for investors'
Economic growth in Germany could make the country a good market in which to invest, according to experts.
Property Secrets stated that the German economy grew by 2.7 per cent last year, the highest level of growth in 6 years.
Meanwhile, the country's unemployment rate was said to be falling as more jobs were being created.
As a market that has strongly favoured renting for many years, the firm has suggested that these factors could make Germany a good place in which to invest.
A spokesperson said: "Most Germans prefer to rent, rather than own a house, and that is why the country has the lowest home ownership rates in Europe."
The firm added that this was positive news for overseas investors, especially as the rental market was strong, stable and regulated.
Recently, the investment potential of Germany was highlighted by Frontline Berlin, which stated that much of its property was undervalued because it had not yet experienced a boom in the market.
