Great 'accessibility for investors' into Paris
Paris has countless opportunities for potential property investors as it has numerous air links plus short journey times via the Eurostar, according to BuyAssociation.
Moreover, rail links from the UK are decreasing in time even further, while air travel is granting travellers increased accessibility as the airports are centrally located.
Overseas property editor for the company Paul Collins stated that such things mean that the French capital is highly sought after by property investors.
"I'm sure that has something to do with it. As the Eurostar journey times come down the rail links from the UK side are getting quicker," he commented.
He added that the Eurostar is probably the best option as it delivers people directly into the heart of Paris from London.
The Economist recently stated that between 1997 and 2005, the property market in France grew by 87%.
According to Homes Worldwide, the recently introduced Work, Employment and Buying Power rule should lead to greater tax relief on mortgages for French residents.
