Investors 'can make money from foreign property'
Investing in a foreign property market could be a highly lucrative endeavour, industry analysts have stated.
According to A Place in the Sun Live, people who buy a second home abroad could make a "great return" on their investment.
This, it said, is because many property markets across the world are more profitable than that in the UK.
Indeed, A Place in the Sun Live stated that many emerging markets in particular are experiencing rapid economic growth, such as Turkey, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.
"Buying abroad is still a good investment and can make you a profit," it commented.
"You just need to know where to look."
A Place in the Sun Live added that many parts of eastern Europe also present a favourable environment for foreign property buyers.
According to a study by Savills and Holiday-Rentals, people from the UK now own 425,000 foreign properties.
Estimates suggest that these are collectively worth in the region of £58 billion.
