Investors 'can make money in Morocco'
Agadir on the Moroccan coast could be a lucrative market for those looking for property investments or an overseas investment, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Agadir's first apart-hotel, Les Terrasses d'Agadir, may prove to be tempting for investors as they are being offered a "hassle-free, solid and secure investment", as well as 28 days a year at the complex.
Prices for an investment in the developments start at just under 110,000 (£87,000) and construction is due to be completed by December 2009.
The Telegraph reports that Morocco has recently had a boom in tourism and property growth.
Fouad Akalay, a Moroccan property expert, commented on the opportunity, saying: "Early investors should expect capital growth of 20-30 per cent for the next several years."
The government in Morocco hopes to create a further 600,000 jobs and reach ten million visitors by 2010 through its Vision 2010 project.
