Investors 'see opportunities abroad'
Professional property investors are likely to find that the economic downturn across the world works in their favour.
This is the view of Paul Collins, property editor at the BuyAssociation, who stated that experienced buyers will thrive in current market conditions.
He said this is because some destinations have seen a drop in the number of buyers, which has led to developers becoming increasingly keen to sell.
As a result, he believes that professional investors will be likely to sense opportunities in these markets and get a favourable deal.
Mr Collins commented: "Just look for the really good investments; places like Spain where people are talking about the market dipping."
He added that many "great properties" are available in the European country at the moment.
According to a recent report from Holiday-Rentals, nearly one in three British-owned properties in Europe are located in Spain.
