Investors 'should enter accessible markets'

Overseas property investors have been advised to consider purchasing in an easily accessible market.

UK newspaper the Telegraph said that a country such as France would be suitable for investment buyers, as it contained a number of potential business opportunities.

However, investors were told that they would benefit the most if they purchased a property located near an airport.

In addition, the publication stated that they should "ideally" choose a region that was served by low-cost airlines, as travel to the area would be more affordable for both the buyer and visiting holidaymakers.

The Telegraph also suggested various other ways of attracting potential occupants to their rental accommodation, such as ensuring that all the services were in full working order.

"Create the kind of guest house that you would like to stay in yourself," it continued.

"If you think it's perfect, others probably will."

France's property market recently received a potential boost after budget airline Ryanair announced the launch of new services from Bristol to Bergerac (Dordogne), Beziers (Languedoc) and Pau (Pyrenees-Atlantiques).
