Investors told 'Bucharest is the place to be'
An official at The Business Process Outsourcing Centre, opened by Accenture in Bucharest, has stated that the venue may become the company's largest in Europe.
Former center lead at the company Alasdair Glen stated that he anticipates the company to outstrip the one in Prague, reports zf.ro.
These thoughts were echoed by the head of the centre Aurelian Sima, who stated that the group has 200 staff on the domestic market but this is set to rise to 2,000 in the medium term.
Further investments are based on the fact that there is a positive attitude towards investments in Romania, the group stated.
"The high interest investors have in Bucharest proves this is the place to be," Mr Glen commented to the paper.
He added that it is important for the firm to have strong relationships with the economy on a domestic level and to have a good knowledge of the local legal situation.
In related news, Romania should see further retail investments, according to a number of sources, including the brand chain Humanic.
