Italy 'accessible' via cheap flights

Cheap airlines travelling to southern Italy have opened up its potential and are very important, according to the Global Property Group.

Easy access to the area for travellers is essential, a spokesperson said. Such developments mean that the area could become as popular as those in Spain, were a great number of cheap flights are already established.

Director of the Global Property Group, Mike Dunkerley, stated that airlines such as Ryanair have improved the situation.

"Ryanair have done for this region what the budget airlines have done for easy access to Spain. They've made it highly accessible - two and a quarter hours flight," he commented.
