Malaga to get new airline

A new airline linking the Costa del Sol to the Caribbean is set to be established in Malaga.

Typically Spanish reports that Andulas Lineas Aereas will be headed by Fernando Guerrero, ex-manager of the bankrupt firm Air Madrid.

Increasing the accessibility to this popular part of Spain may benefit those with investment property in the region as it could lead to higher numbers of tourists heading to the area.

According to the website, the new company will be presented to public at the Torremolinos Congress Palace at the end of May.

Malaga has been the overseas property investment region of choice for many people over a number of years.

The climate on the Costa del Sol is hot for most of the year, making it popular with tourists who need developments to stay in. Malaga was also the setting for James Michener's book The Drifters, which painted the region as an idyllic getaway for young people.
