Moroccan property investment potential highlighted
Those interested in overseas property investment will find that Morocco has a lot to offer, it has been suggested.
Writing for Gulf News, Sonia Ismael highlighted the north African country as one which has potential for house prices to rise significantly.
She observed that values increased from the middle of 2007, but still remain relatively low in comparison to developed markets, which could mean anyone seeking an off-plan opportunity is able to capitalise.
According to Ms Ismael, sophisticated developments are being constructed in Morocco and this is set to continue as plans are in place to demolish shanty towns.
She added: "With its temperate climate and dramatic landscape, Morocco boasts a perfect blend of old and new, resulting in high-quality builds of character."
The Moroccan city of Casablanca was recently highlighted as having investment potential by research firm Jones Lang LaSalle, which rated it among the best prospects in the Middle East and north Africa.
