Morocco recommended to foreign investors

Overseas property investors have been advised to consider purchasing a residence in Morocco.

The Sunday Mirror recommended the north African country as a good option for buyers because of its affordability and accessibility from the UK.

Regular flights by airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair were said to have opened up the market to visitors, leading to a significant increase in tourism.

According to figures cited by the newspaper, visitor numbers have increased from 4.2 million to 7 million in the last 6 years.

This could make the country a good option for both rental investors and people who are considering buying a holiday home overseas.

Morocco's Mediterranean coastline was also praised for being far less developed than that in Spain, while property prices were said to be much cheaper.

Morocco was recently highlighted as a good destination for winter sun-seekers by Fiona Reece of I-Escape, who told the Guardian that it allowed visitors to soak up some culture and enjoy a beach holiday.
