Natal 'offers investment opportunities'
The Brazilian city of Natal has been highlighted as a potentially good destination for overseas property investors.
According to the Telegraph, the area is popular with a wide group of people, including property buyers, film stars and footballers.
Natal's popularity with foreign investors was largely attributed to the ease of access from abroad, as it is directly accessible from the UK.
The newspaper also said that a second airport was being built in the region and was due to be open in three years time.
Speaking to the publication, property investor Louise Brown commented: "It has year-round sun and this enormous airport about to open."
She added that it was very cheap to invest in Brazil at the moment and that the market has "huge potential".
This follows the launch of a new service between the South American country and Britain by Varig, which will offer passage between London's Heathrow Airport and Rio de Janeiro from the end of this month.
