New Bucharest hotel 'on the way'

A large amount of money is to be invested by a duo of companies in the city of Bucharest, according to new reports.

Shareholders of both the Amsterdam Cafe and Rembrandt hotel are set to pump 2 million euros into a new venue, reports zf.ro.

The fresh venture is set to have a number of amenities, including a restaurant, bar and around 40 rooms.

It will be built in the historical centre of the city and in part is designed to replace the closed Amsterdam cafe.

Marketing manager at the Rembrandt hotel Alina Buzea said that the building will be designed to fit in succinctly with those around it.

"We will open a second hotel, which will also be located in the historical centre, as there are a number of beautiful buildings here. It will have a larger capacity than the Rembrandt hotel," the official commented.

It is hoped that the development will take around 2 to 3 years to complete.
