New low-cost link for Sofia
Easyjet has announced that it is to add 7 new routes to its itinerary later on in the year, with a link to Bulgaria included among of them.
The company is to start regular flights to between London and Sofia, 3 times a week, reports novinite.com.
Such flights will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will depart from Gatwick in the English capital, news that may be of interest to potential property investors.
A date of November 6th has been set for the first flight between the destinations.
The publication added that Bulgaria has increased as an attractive proposition for low-cost airliners since it joined the European Union in 2006.
According to data, 40-50% of the Bulgarian market is made up by low-cost airline companies.
