New Moroccan flights 'to be introduced next year'

A budget airline is planning to introduce extra services between Spain and Morocco, according to reports.

APA News stated that easyJet was preparing to launch new flights between Madrid and Tangiers from the start of February.

This should significantly open up the region to consumers in Spain, potentially boosting the local tourist trade as a result.

Such a development may also make Tangiers a more attractive destination for overseas property buyers to consider, as the potential for earning high rental yields would be enhanced.

The airline already operates a number of services between the two countries.

Earlier this year, easyJet began offering passage from Madrid to Casablanca, as well as flights to Marrakesh.

In addition, easyJet also offers several services to the North African country from the UK, including a direct route to Marrakesh from London Gatwick Airport.
