Oracle creating new Romanian jobs
The domestic section of Oracle has announced that it wants to employ more than 500 people at its Bucharest base in the coming year.
It currently has about 1,000 employees but wants to expand further and also predicts a 50% rate in growth, reports zf.ro.
Senior manager of human resources at the company Simina Berceanu said that the future remains bright for the company.
"Last year, we saw a growth rate of 100%. Practically, the number of employees doubled from 500 to 1,000 and this year we expect a growth rate of 50%. Our plan is to exceed the 1,500 mark by the end of the next financial year," he told the publication.
Moreover, the firm looks likely to open another mini-centre - its 13th - in the near future.
Support centres are the busiest types of business in terms of recruitment, the paper added.
