Paris suburbs 'offer good investments'

Developments in the suburbs of Paris are good for property investors as they are in a strong location, according to the advice organisation BuyAssociation.

Such areas - including Marne-le-Vallee - are growing in popularity as the properties can be let out to people who want to commute into the city itself, the organisation claimed.

Moreover, houses in more suburban areas have better amenities than those in central Paris because they are more modern.

Overseas property editor at the company Paul Collins suggested that the location of Euro Disney is having a positive effect on the number of investors choosing the area.

"It's just quite a nice growth area because there's plenty of land out there so it's being developed quite well. The links between Euro Disney are also quite good," he commented.

He added that it is more likely people will have access to newer facilities such as air conditioning and lifts in these areas further out.

Earlier this week, the group suggested that Paris is a popular destination for British investors as it has good travel links.
