Property buyers look at Bodrum
Overseas property investors are increasingly looking at the Bodrum pensinsula in Turkey, experts have revealed.
NuBricks.com stated that authorities in the region have approved the creation of a new golf resort, a development which could potentially attract lots of affluent visitors.
The website believes that this could have a knock-on effect on the local property market by pushing up house prices.
Furthermore, an influx of visitors could also create extra demand for rental accommodation in Bodrum.
Commenting on the development, NuBricks.com said: "It will be interesting to monitor the demand for golf property around Bodrum as announcement day draws closer and the final plans are drawn up."
The website added that the golf course should provide a "major boost" to the region's international standing.
According to government figures cited by TurkishPress.com, Turkey attracted 1.7 million visitors during January and February this year.
