Property for sale 'needs to stand out'
People who are planning to sell their overseas property have been encouraged to make it stand out from the crowd.
Paul Collins, property editor at the BuyAssociation website, stated that homeowners need to be realistic with their goals.
In particular, he recommended that people look at what else is going on in the local market, such as what types of property are currently selling well.
This, he stated, would enable them to decide how to promote their home as appropriately as possible.
"You need to pick out things that make your property unique and make it really attractive to your target market," Mr Collins commented.
He added that sellers also need to identify what type of person is likely to buy and what specific features they will be looking for.
According to NuBricks.com, foreign property buyers are increasingly looking beyond European shores to emerging markets further afield.
