Property price rises predicted for Turkey
A number of areas of Turkey are likely to see growth in property prices in the coming years, it has been suggested.
Research analyst Nick Barnes expects the less-developed parts of the country around Bodrum and Didim to benefit from increased values, according to Didim Today.
The news source recommended investments in Altinkum and Antalya in particular, with the latter city being developed into a golf centre that "the government hopes will rival the Algarve".
Local property expert James Dearsley, meanwhile, observed that many visitors are surprised by the attractiveness of Turkey, stating: "The country is completely underrated if you've got any money to spend."
And those choosing to make an investment could benefit from a recent rise in the number of visitors to the destination, with the American Express Global Foreign Services Currency Index revealing that it is increasingly popular - demand for the Turkish lira having risen by 26% in the last year.
