Romania recommended to foreign investors

Overseas property investors have been advised to take advantage of growth in the Romanian housing market.

Independent analysts at Amberlamb stated that the eastern European country is seeing significant amounts of foreign investment, particularly in its commercial property sector.

This means that the country's investment potential is not solely limited to the residential market and that overall demand for property among foreign buyers is on the rise.

Amberlamb also said that the government is actively trying to woo foreign investors to the country and encourage more sustained investment.

Commenting on the market, it remarked: "Romania wants to be the leading commercial centre for the central and eastern European region."

The organisation added that the country is "well on its way" to achieving this goal.

This comes just over a year after Romania became a member of the European Union.
