Ryanair expands at Birmingham
Low-cost airline Ryanair has launched more than a dozen new services from Birmingham International Airport.
The introduction of 14 routes to destinations across Europe means the continent is now far more easily accessible to people in the West Midlands.
Many of the new routes are to Spanish airports, including Alicante, Murcia and Malaga, a development that could boost tourism in these areas.
This may be of interest to rental investors who are looking for a foreign investment, while the accessibility improvements could also lead to more people considering Spain as a good place in which to buy a holiday home.
Indeed, Conti Financial Services recently highlighted Spain as the most popular location for overseas property buyers in the UK.
Laura McCormack, sales and marketing executive at Ryanair, commented: "We are delighted to introduce these fantastic new routes from Birmingham Airport."
She added that there is a "great demand" for affordable air travel from the West Midlands transport hub.
