Scottish consumers offered Portuguese flights
People in Scotland are set to benefit from the introduction of new flights to Portugal next year.
Low-cost airline easyJet will begin offering passage between Glasgow and Faro three times a week from April 2008.
The new service will further enhance the accessibility of Portugal to Scottish consumers, potentially boosting tourism in the European country.
Furthermore, the move could also serve to make it a more attractive to market for Scotland-based property investors to consider, since transport links have become more frequent and affordable.
Commenting on Faro, easyJet said: "As well as it being a gateway to the popular Portuguese holiday and golfing resorts, the city is a thriving commercial centre with a historic old town."
This comes after Aer Lingus announced that it would offer flights between Belfast and Faro next summer.
The airline is currently in the process of rolling out a number of new services from the Northern Irish city to Europe.
