Spain 'gets a taste of Hollywood'
Tourism may be given a boost across Spain after the announcement that Gwyneth Paltrow is to travel through the country filming a cookery programme.
On the way, she is set to sample local delights from a number of areas and will be accompanied by Mario Batali, the chef, reports Homes Worldwide.
They will visit lesser known destinations, eating locally grown food in what could increase the attractiveness of such areas to outsiders, the publication said.
Spain's diet is a varied one, which is based on fruit, vegetables and fresh fish.
Ms Paltrow is believed to be keen on trying a variety of different foods for the show, such as eels. She also wants to increase the popularity of the country to American tourists, Homes Worldwide said.
Earlier this week the publication reported that the village of Bunol, close to Valencia, is set to be lit up by the sights of the Tomatina festival.
