Spain 'good for business'
The strength of Spain's financial services and IT industries makes the country an attractive proposition for business relocation, an expert has claimed.
Pat O'Brien, a business process outsourcing analyst at Datamonitor, said that Spain has developed "a very mature IT industry" and is becoming a "very good location for certain types of work".
In news which could be of interest to Spanish property owners or people planning to invest in the country, he said that the country's banking and energy sectors are also in a good position.
Mr O'Brien commented: "Spain does have a lot going for it [a] very good transport structure, it's politically stable, it [has a] mature IT industry, a good education system and its labour costs are cheap."
He said that the growing number of international businesses looking to outsource operations to Spain is testament to the country's stability and advanced infrastructure.
Shelter Offshore recently stated that Spanish property remains an attractive long-term investment for property owners.
