Spain in the midst of heatwave
Temperatures are soaring in Spain, with inland areas feeling the heat the most, according to reports.
It is expected that the hottest areas are set to be in the centre of the country and in the south-centre area, with places such as Seville and Cordoba basking in the heat, reports Homes Worldwide.
The publication added that a large number in properties in Spain are designed to specifically cope with the heat during the summer months.
Such houses have white walls in order to reflect the heat and have small windows as well, it said.
A great deal of inland Spain is on a high plain so temperatures are hotter than at the coast during the summer, Homes Worldwide said.
Potential property buyers were also advised to look at those properties that already have air conditioning installed to make overall living conditions easier.
In related news, Spain's roads have recently been busy, with many highways packed going towards areas such as the Costa del Sol as the country shuts down for the summer, according to the General Traffic Directorate.
