Spain 'is a favourite for Britons'
Spain is likely to remain a popular destination with property investors from the UK, an expert has stated.
Peter Esders, partner at The International Law Partnership, said the country has long been a popular destination for British property buyers, reports Homes Worldwide.
He praised Spain for offering attractions such as good food, beautiful scenery and a good quality of live.
Speaking after the recent general election, he added that its political stability is another of its main attributes.
The newly re-elected government recently announced that it would make the Spanish property much simpler, which Mr Esders believes will generate new interest in the market.
He commented: "The positive aspects of the manifesto should strengthen the decision to buy amongst those who are still in consideration."
This comes after NuBricks.com revealed that the cost of living in Spain is "substantially less" than in Britain.
According to the website, this helps to illustrate why Spain is still the "top destination" for retirees looking to move abroad.
