Spanish market recommended to investors
Prospective property investors have been encouraged to look at possible opportunities in Europe.
According to the Independent, the slowdown in the Spanish market is putting many foreign property buyers off the country.
However, the newspaper said that real estate agents are responding to the drop in demand by slashing their prices.
This means that people could pick up a relative bargain and enjoy significant capital appreciation when the market starts to pick up again.
The Independent commented: "No downturn lasts forever.
"As prices fall, they must eventually level off and then the worst time to buy suddenly becomes the very best time."
Investors were told that they could potentially snap up a property for far less than they would have been able to 12 months ago without losing any money.
This comes after the Daily Mail said that shrewd buyers can still find good deals in Spain, as the problems currently facing the market do not apply to every part of the country.
