Terminal 3 opens in Dubai

The new Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport has opened its doors to air passengers today.

Although the facility is now up and running, it is to be gradually phased to make its incorporation into the existing airport go more smoothly.

Emirates Airline will use the terminal as its base for services to various international destinations, including Brazil, Canada and the US.

The incremental growth of the facility will go through four stages, with flights to other parts of the world slowly being introduced.

This represents a significant improvement to the ease of access to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Dubai in particular.

As a result, it is likely that the region will soon begin to attract greater attention from business and leisure travellers, as well as overseas property investors.

According to Jet-to-Let magazine, the UAE is currently a highly popular investment market among second home buyers in Britain.
