Tourists in Turkey 'often plan to buy property there after visiting'
Many tourists visiting Turkey are so impressed with the country's beauty and hospitality that they often end up considering buying property there as a result, according to a new report.
The Today's Zaman newspaper cites first-hand accounts from tourists visiting resorts like Manavgat and Side, who claim that Turkey offers a rare mix of culture and generosity.
One tourist, Suppan Gabriele, an Austrian nurse-dietician, told the newspaper that she would "voluntarily promote" the country in her home town after enjoying a holiday there.
She remarked: "Such a beautiful country already deserves to become a European Union member. Turkey is a really perfect country in terms of its natural beauty."
Ms Gabriele added that she intends to relocate to Turkey once her mother retires - and the news provider reports that this is not an isolated case.
According to the Turkish Tourism Investors Association, Germany, the UK and Bulgaria make up some of the most popular nationalities of tourists visiting the country.
