Tourists keep flocking to Spain
Property investors who are interested in buying rental accommodation overseas could find Spain an ideal place in which to make a purchase.
According to the Economic Times, more than 59 million leisure travellers visited the European country last year.
This, it stated, makes it one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, which means it offers a strong rental market.
As a result, owners of tourist accommodation could find themselves well-placed to make substantial returns on their investment.
"It's a spectacular and diverse country," the Economic Times commented.
"The uniqueness of Spain lies in the separate kingdoms which made up the original Spanish nation."
These areas were said to offer diverse languages, culture, art and food, as well as friendly local residents.
According to Skyscanner, Spain is the most popular October half-term holiday destination among British families.
The flight search engine said the European country is still the favourite among people from the UK, despite growing competition from other destinations.
