Turkey attracts foreign investors

Overseas property buyers are increasingly showing interest in the Turkish market, a media outlet has said.

According to the Daily Mail, the European country is proving to be a very attractive destination because it offers both lifestyle and financial benefits.

The newspaper highlighted its hot climate and exotic culture as two of its main attributes, along with its unspoilt scenery.

However, prospective buyers were also told that they could potentially get more for their money in Turkey than in many other European countries.

This is because Turkey is not part of the euro - a currency which is currently much stronger than the British pound.

Furthermore, the newspaper said it also offers a relatively low cost of living and a growing property market.

The Daily Mail commented: "Turkey is a genuine alternative to Spain and Cyprus."

This comes after ShelterOffshore.com predicted a positive outlook for the Turkish housing market, since its growing tourist market meant that more prospective property buyers would be arriving in the country this year.
