Turkey 'is diverse enough to provide for all investors'

Turkey has much to offer all investors, regardless of whether they are large corporate groups or private residential property buyers, according to an investment consultant.

Robin Hollingbury, chairman of logistics and transportation company Pasha, claimed that the country's welcoming approach to foreign investment and relatively sound legal reputation make it an attractive destination for many investors.

He described the number of investment groups looking to expand operations in Turkey as "remarkable", with many looking towards tourist regions like Antalaya as well as the traditional larger cities like Ankara and Istanbul.

Writing in the Turkish Daily News, Mr Hollingbury explained that investment in the country is a mutually beneficial process.

"Turkey welcomes foreign investment - with the vehicle of foreign financial input Turkey will grow, her economy will benefit, and there will be greater employment as a result and a higher standard of living for all," he commented.

Mr Hollingbury concluded by saying that "returns above the norm" can also be found in Turkey, so long as advice is sought from those who know the complexities of the market.

Recently, the Turkish government announced positive economic figures that showed that its country is now entering a period of sustainable growth.
